gorgeous eastlake dresser...

i got this at an auction recently and it was missing its hardware, but the piece was really solid and good shape. i immediately saw 'black' with a handpainted design....i found some vintage looking pulls for it and they look great! i ended up painting the sides of the drawers on this one...a bright red...love the little surprise when you open the drawers!

$310

look at this AMAZING scalloped dovetailing on the drawers...i've never seen that before, its gorgeous!

  1. The drawers joinery is reffered to as pin and cove. Its was the first method of machine constructed joinery which began mass production of furniture and is commonly scene in eastlake period furniture.
