antique flag dresser

this little beauty was so fun to do! i absolutely LOVE the color combination! i was going to do the full british flag, but after i got the cross finished, i really liked the simplicity of how it turned out. the dresser was in great shape structurally, but finish wise....not so good. i chose a nice soft palette for this dresser to keep it looking somewhat airy. i love the scalloped bottom and the nice curved legs.

i extended the stripe to the sides, to add some interest to the side view.

i've wanted to do a dresser like this for quite a while, but needed the right lines for it. this one was it! the nice detail and flat front made it work perfectly! the original hardware was all in tact and in great shape, so it was used again!

this would make a great tv stand or hall/entry piece, as well as a dresser.

44w x 21d x 36h

$450.-

i love it when the furniture pieces still have the old tag of where they were made...or somewhat in tact still!
